    Great interview. I love how the music compliments the film. One of the greatest soundtracks to a film since the one for Forrest Gump. Can't wait for the Director's Cut on Blu-Ray!

    There are 3 groups of people who will never, can't ever, appreciate this movie: 1. consumers of mainstream media (most people), 2. people who think a movie must be perfectly reasonable and understandable (a lot of people), 3. people who expected this to be a Donnie Darko 2 (all movie critics and almost all Donnie Darko fans).

    It's a great film that could have been better. It's hard to say what it needs, but it was so close to being a classic that it sad to see it fall short.
